Job has to work for you if you want to work here
Tractor Trailer Technician (Antiguo empleado) - Brownsburg, IN - 17 enero 2023
While the money is decent, the schedule was intense for me personally but only given my unique situation. (single dad with every other day overnight visitation. A true 50/50 co-parenting schedule). If you want to really be involved with your children, I would search elsewhere for permanent employment.

Dispatchers make it hard
Driver (Empleado actual) - Apollo Beach, FL - 12 enero 2023
Consistent work. Consistent bs from dispatcher/fleet manager. It's easy work but the FM make it hard. Your sleep schedule will be all messed up. They don't give you a breakdown of your paycheck so most of the time it seems like they pay you whatever they want.

Good place to work
CDL A Driver (Empleado actual) - Des Moines, IA - 11 enero 2023
Good company to drive for. I have been driving for TMC for nearly 2 1/2 years. They have honored everything they have ever told me. They have good equipment and well taken care of. They do have a reputation for wanting trucks clean. Don't listen to the hype, they are not that bad as made out to be.

good starter company
OTR Truck Driver (Empleado actual) - Fayetteville, NC - 10 enero 2023
if you need a good starter company to start your cdl our journey then i recommend tmc, pay is average but bad during the holidays. management is ok but could be better. only way to make some real money is to be a trainer or to stay out for months

Pay
OTR Driver (Empleado actual) - Arkansas - 4 enero 2023
Pay is good when you have a load. Sometimes sitting and waiting for hours to get a load But then sometimes you are pre-planned loads day in and day out .

Good place to work. Always something new going on. You get to teach students the correct ways to drive a truck. Load securement is top notch, and highly enforced.

Great company with high standards
Flatbed Truck Driver (Empleado actual) - Des Moines, IA - 25 diciembre 2022
Great training and orientation. I was assigned to a fantastic trainer who was patient and knowledgeable. The work is physically demanding but you work hard for a short time, drive, work hard again. It’s not overwhelming. I really appreciate the company standards and support from everyone I have come into contact with. Their securement is second to none.

Flatbed Regional Truck Driver (Antiguo empleado) - Auburndale, FL - 25 diciembre 2022
What is the best part of working at the company? Good equipment Folks there lack credibility. They are not honest and consistently lie to the drivers. From the fleet managers, to the safety personnel and operations managers. There is no concern for the drivers. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The consistent lies and untruthfulness . The fleet managers are afraid of the drivers. They refuse to meet with you in person. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? No concern for the drivers. They only care about the trucks and the company. They could care less about the folks out there delivering freight. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Waiting around at shipper and receivers for hours and days. Dealing with untruthful fleet managers and staff.

Freedom on the road
Line Haul Driver (Empleado actual) - Florida - 21 diciembre 2022
Overall a great employee owned company, you can make good money as long as you hustle. Hours can be long on the road but if you’re not afraid of that you can be successful.

Logistics Sales Representative (Antiguo empleado) - Brownsburg, IN - 21 diciembre 2022
What is the best part of working at the company? Nothing. Don't trust managers. They'll stab you in the back. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Walking through the door. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? If you like online betting you'll be fine. Otherwise you're screwed. Don't expect any help from the managers. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Crummy tools. Crummy managers.

Good company but has things to work on
Truck Driver (Empleado actual) - Des Moines, IA - 15 diciembre 2022
Good company to work for but has things to work on. Good equipment but doesn't allow a driver any freedoms. Such as pc and dropping the trailer. But overall a good company

Truck Driver Class A (Empleado actual) - Des Moines, IA - 11 diciembre 2022
Honestly a good company, that truly cares about their drivers. Wish it worked for my needs. I need more normal hours and home daily… great company to work for!
Pros
Pay
Contras
No holiday pay or any kind of paid time off except vacation

Great company
Excellent company. Excellent pay if you are willing to work for it. It’s flatbed so don’t expect it to be easy. A lot of the loads are tarped but it’s not hard after you get a little experience.

Truck Driver Class A (Antiguo empleado) - Des Moines, IA - 6 diciembre 2022
They let anyone train with little experience themselves they talk and treat you like your nothing, the pay never matched the job, having to drive 14 hours to make it home on friday, and making it home on fridays was not always certain, no safety nor sign on bonus, the truck/the company make more than the driver, my class started with 26 graduates only to end with 4 left, high turnover from people quitting, the truck is the main concern having to be washed every week, breakdown is horrible will have you sit on the side of the road literally for 4 hours with them only texting you back and forth never speaking to anyone, after dropping your load you literally have to wait hours for another, and when you request a new fleet manager your request is denied only to offer you another when you decide to quit and when you do quit they want you to pick up a load and drop the truck off to them while in turn they charge you for the gas bringing the truck back to them and the whole staff talk to you with no respect even during training
Pros
No pros at all except getting cdl but come with a price
Contras
You are considered a number
