good place to make money if you have a family

Its a good place where you could make all of the over time you need with people matching the same energy their is no other place you rather be other then at home with your family sometimes they have events for you and your family on weekend so y'all could spend time together

Great Place to Work

Great pay and benefits. Awesome Management.Ability to promote in company. New Supervisor was a driver and also GMVP too. Free food sometimes like ice cream and burgers.

Terrible culture - Purchasing

With skilled, mature, and professional management in place, this would be a great place to work. But alas, a cliquey, gossipy, immature, and hypercritical leadership team drives it down. The team will only support the people playing the political game and does not stand for anyone who dares question how things are handled or offers other viewpoints - and it all starts at the top. Poor communication and examples set, where the "leaders" basically hide in their offices on non-hybrid days, except to gossip with their chosen brown-nosing favorites.

It's a job

Underpaid. Old equipment. Management is ok. Lost its whataburger contract which was the company's hey day. Not the worst, but not the best. You are a delivery driver 1st. Truck driver 2nd.

What is the best part of working at the company?There's a gas station on the corner that serves amazing chicken.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Equipment failure, time restraints and management not caring about drivers time at home for there family.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?You're moving about 40k pounds by hand every night. If the warehouse leaves something off your trailer you will pay for it out of your paycheck.

political show, it's who you know

you are on your own. literally. they basically encourage you to break the law every day. you could even get punished for not. but if you get caught then it's on you. trucks never work. you work while in sleeper berth if you have a partner. they don't care if you have covid, they want you to come in an work. seniority rules most of the time unless you friends with someone in transportation.

Good Stable Job

The job pays well, but very hard on your body at the very beginning of employment if you are not used to that sort of thing. It gets better through time if you can muster through it.

Ok company to work for

The job is hard work but has other decent benefits. Up to 5 weeks vacation, 3 day of personal days, 6 paid holidays. Pay is not too bad but maybe not for as hard as the job is.

Productive hard work great pay

Pays well if you can run the routes and don't mind very hard work. Feels like a small company as far as the office, nice ppl. There is lots of money to be made here.

Decent starter Job

Very physical demanding job (Not a bad thing tho) it's like basically getting paid to workout, the warehouse is terrible which makes the job alot harder than it has to be, turnover rate is very high which you'll find out very quickly why (not because of the physicality either)

Expect to live there.

No home life. The expectations are to much for one person to achieve. They hire people with no experience and expect their supervisor to run the show.

Laid back good place to work

Supervisors are very kind and they work with you downside is the warehouse is dusty and my nose is filled with black stuff and sometimes can be difficult to find good pallets I love the schedule it’s a four day work week paid weekly and there’s opportunity to make incentive bonus money there’s three departments dry cooler and freezer, And good start time which is 9 AM and in good physical job to keep you in shape

If you willing to sell your body for money this is where to come hard work easily unloading about 100,000 pounds a week by hand if you get 3 routes per week

normal pay , good people / hard working

Overall my experience was great definitely made it fit for me , however when introduced to a warehouse job and working a schedule caused to change positions. Otherwise would have stayed for maybe multiple years .

Management not welcoming to outside network employees

I think the company has its goals set the right way, but the wrong people running the place to get there. Bad judgment on supervisors and to many child attitudes running the shifts.

Wouldn’t recommend

Good for getting your foot n the door but overall Sygma is not a good company to work for. Long hours(10-14),poor training and pay as helper fluctuates.

Toxic

Toxic plant manager and HR combination. Goal was to build evidence to fire people after they decided to get rid of you. Winessed them sit in office and discuss how to build a paper trail and what they could use against people who did not follow along. They would encourage backstabbing amoungst employees and even against each other when one of them was gone. Neither one of them are employed by the company any more which is good.

Production is ok

Working 18 a day is not good for the human body or mind the management does not care about the employees and they have a point system of 8points on a 5 day 18hrs each day system
