Cons

Very hard to move up to better role if you open to it. Some managers are hard to work with because they want you stay in the position you were hired for forever instead of helping evolve .

no incentives, little to no appraisals

good job, but if you're already highly paid, don't expect appraisals anytime soon. they never have any monetary incentives. good amount of vacation days though.

Great place to work

Its a great place to work and they have good career progression. Some of the operational teams do work longer hours so if you want better work life balance, best find job in another department

Productive and fun place to work

Great company, poor compensation. Excellent benefits and a place to learn new skills rapidly. The managers are hands on and want to see you excel in your career. Great work life balance

Customers were the best distraction

Work culture was awful and management was the worse. Yelling at employees was a constant thing even in front of customers. When a customer defends you from management means a toxic work place.

Good work/life balance considering it’s a 9-5 style, however the pay is not enough for what they expect out of you. Even with that being said, I would give it a 4

Well-paying, stable job

There’s not much more to say about the place. It’s your typical bank environment, fast paced in busier areas. Lots of different things to do to keep you busy and interested. They have good benefits and tuition assistance.

It was a great place to work when the housing rates were down now they’re high And you practically can make no money. Benefits are great management is pretty good.

I loved my time with chase the management is top class and they respect everyone and treat everyone equally. The work culture is amazing and work life balance is best.

Great Company with strong leadership

The culture is strong; however, continue to hire new people in at much higher salaries than the current staff. The culture around return to office is absurd, as many many jobs can be done remote and with the use of Zoom.

It's a good company. It will ask employees to escalate when any unlawful activities happen. But after investigation, they will terminate both the parties. They will not disclose the outcome of their investigation.

High stress

Call center job (mortgage refinance). High stress due to inefficient processes put into place. Receiving phone calls from angry customers all day. Not worth it.

Bad culture needs more collaboration within teams and encouraging individual to be non hostile with the environment. Also preserve a culture of respect and openess.

The people is what makes it the best

JPMC really foster a good culture from senior leadership to the ground, there's a sense of camaraderie and helping each other when you need the help. We also know we're a top bank so we act like it and foster excellence in the tasks we do.

it's getting better

When I first started at the beginning of the pandemic it was a mess. I was constantly having to work 12 hour days to keep up on requests. Partners were adding to the stress and it was taking a physical toll on me and a lot of my colleagues. It has taken almost 2 years to finally get proper staffing to alleviate the massive workload . There are still areas that need to be worked on like creating better methods of communication with different departments in the company, updating systems, and simplifying processes ( to change certain things processes involve too many teams resulting in crazy SLAs -weeks,months, etc).

LOB Growing too fast to support, bad work/life balance, heavy workload, lack of communication within the business

Lots of nice people to meet.

They really care about there people you are not just a number. They try and make a good. Place. Sometimes they offer pizza have games to play for items.

Ok pay and great benefits keep you there

Basic cookie cutter corporate job. You do you job you’ll keep your job. Impossible to get fired from. Great benefits but pay isn’t that great. It’s good enough to keep you there because benefits are amazing. Job development is bad and they only teach what you need to know.

Great workplace culture

Always a great group of people in the office and senior management tends to be involved on daily operations. The workload is reasonable and fair. Each department has their own goals and requirements which can be challenging for work/life balance due to OT. Great structure and company mantra.

It is one of best organizations I have worked with. The company offers wonderful work culture. Everyone is treated with equal opportunities. Working here, I was able to learn skills useful for my career growth.

Very diverse company

Overall working for the company has been amazing, first real big girl job and I got the opportunity to work remotely for almost two years. Great benefits.
