TBH I should’ve looked at the reviews before accepting my offer. It was a bait and switch, and I never ended up in the area I was told I would work in. Pretty unsupportive, largely because managers are too busy to give feedback.

Typical staffing firm - Nothing above average

ACS placed me in a financial corporation. There was a backlog of physical paperwork that needed processed (caused by COVID, layoffs & regular employees working from home).Nothing unusual at the job site. Typical financial office. Took about 7-8 days to get technology (which appears to be typical). Then another 10-days of waiting to be trained. So, about my first 3-4 weeks on the job site was mainly waiting for tech access then waiting for training.The role I held was a "heads down, data-entry" job, which I enjoyed. Office was quiet and the regular employees rarely spoke to each other let alone the onsite contractors. Not a bad thing, just saying if you're used to asking questions or chatting during the workday, you may dislike the culture. (Culture may be caused by COVID.)The hardest part of the job was the lack of communication from regular staff for the office I was placed in. There is very little dialog between different offices on the same floor and most people are working from home... so be prepared to wait days for feedback. Also most people working "in-office" seem awkward or generally shy.The next hardest part was the lack of communication from ACS for onsite performance or rules and regulations of the job site I was assigned to.From my one experience you are on your own while working for ACS. Don't expect your representative to keep you updated to expectations rules, and regulations.

Start with none of them speak English

Really bad experience, seems like the recruiter doesn't know how to match, my "3 months"temporary lasted 3 weeks. The whole process to get hired was a hassle.

This job is OK doesn't offe much reasons why I'm looking for a new job you have to work extremely hard to work extremely hard for not much tasks varies daily never organized

Very disorganized

I have never worked for a disorganized, chaotic company in my life. This company is a total joke. Don't waste your time. Not worth it . Management, supervisor people that supposed to help you are not there to help you.

Nice place to work

The environment was great. Great place to work and the people are friendly. If you are looking for stability then this is a great place to work.

Low stress workplace

I worked here 6 months on contract.The work was easy and it was low stress but you could get written up for silly things such as poor grammar and typos.

Productive and fun

Great company to work for, the company gives you room to grow. I managers are very patient with you to learn the materials, for growth. I wish the lunches were longer.

Disorganized

Not a very good experience from the start, on boarding took over a month. I never received much guidance in anything, from the manager or account managers I was working jobs for.

Great placement agency

Very determined staff that landed me a great assignment. Thorough follow up through the interview and vetting process. Fingers crossed I get made permanent as I enjoy it and my team very much

Contracting for Sprint

The time spent working through American CyberSystems for the Sprint Regional Site Develompent Team, has allowed me to experience the best job I've ever had!

I no longer work with them. I'll update my resume to reflect as such. I was release because I don't have a clearance. Did investigation, but was released before results.

I enjoyed working for AmericanCyber Systems, Inc. but they did not find me another job after my first assignment ended unexpectedly and without cause.

Senior Leaders Are Culturally Inept

Senior Leaders must do a better job at staying connected to their team & more importantly heeding their feedback. I hope that they get better because they will not attract supreme talent otherwise.

Fun workplace

Great place for a fresher. Good manager and team lead. Excellent colleagues. There was a lot to learn and work. Pressure was positive. Working here was fun.
